Islands Restaurant Monterey

I visited Island restaurant at Del Monte Shopping Center and really enjoyed it. First of all, the staff was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. The outdoor seating is great, with an air fireplace that makes it cozy, and the indoor area looks very nice too. This place is perfect for families and friends. The food was delicious! We tried the Longboarder Burger, the Big Wave Burger, and the Island Nachos—all were very tasty. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good food and a nice time.

Awesome eatery and great location! The menu is put together well and is light on the wallet. If you want quick delicious meals in the area...Islands has a table for you. Great deals also at happy hour !

Really good burgers! The only complaint is that they didn't ask us how we would like our burgers cooked, and we were served medium well. Apart from that, everything is seasoned well, serving size is really good, service was great.

I don’t normally review corporate however I feel this one deserves a proper review. The food was nothing short of an A+ for a sit down chain. ranging from American and Mexican cuisine with it all being quality. And fairly portioned for the price. The price is very reasonable for the food and the wait time is quicker than most places you sit and dine. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making for an enjoyable and pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere is like any typical restaurant simple enough to satisfy anybody. I would recommend this place, and eat here again!

Delicious food and drinks! The food is so good here and the drinks are so amazing. I would have given 5 stars except that they need to clean their blinds. It looks like they haven't cleaned those in a while and I received wheat bread after ordering white bread. Other than that, the customer service was fantastic and the quality/freshness of the food was fantastic.

Dog Friendly, Great Service , Great Food. Sat in the outside patio area with our dog. The server immediately turned on the heaters next to the fireplace and brought our dog a bowl of water. Had really good service, the food was really good however on the pricey side. The outdoor area is very pretty with class coverings a tv above a fireplace and tropical plants. Would definitely recommend for people with animals.

The food is awesome! Hands down. If you are tired of the fast food boring burgers, then you have to go to Islands! Any of the burgers are cooked to your liking; they are always tasty. My family can't get enough of the sweet potato fries. We devour them. (The sweet creaminess is addictive) My better half enjoyed the onion rings as a side. (Slightly overcooked but great tasting) One of my kids always gets wings from there. He loves the bbq or teriyaki ones. The chicken is tender & falls off the bone. The atmosphere is pretty chill. They have TV's all around the place, so if there's a sports event going on you will be able to see it. Or watch the surfers ride some pretty huge waves!

Recently ate here and I ordered the longboard hamburger with sweet potato fries, and it did not disappoint. The burger was very juicy and flavorful. Highly recommended! We also really enjoyed our appetizers the spinach dip was really good. What truly set this dining experience apart was the outstanding service provided by our server, Benjamin, and the attentive manager. Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel valued throughout the entire meal. Moreover, when the drink I initially ordered didn't meet my expectations, the staff promptly replaced it without any hesitation, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction.Overall, my experience was nothing short of exceptional.
